Sermon Text: Titus 2:11-15
Theme: The grace of God, manifested in the person and work of Jesus Christ, trains the Church to practice godliness in the present age while she eagerly awaits the future return of Jesus to earth.
Structure/points: Titus 2:11-15 is one of the greatest doctrinal treasures of the NT, clearly explaining to us that God has shown grace to us, and what that means for believers. It is a trove of spiritual riches, and the Lord Himself sits on the throne in the middle of all of it. In four points, we will see what God’s grace has done and is doing for those whom He loves and has elected to salvation in Jesus Christ.
- The appearance of God’s grace
- The training of God’s grace
- The expectation of God’s grace
- The declaration of God’s grace
