Sermon Text: 1 Samuel 1:1-28

Theme: The Lord of Hosts heard the request of Hannah when she faithfully prayed for His help

Structure/points: Hannah’s request of the Lord is key to the opening chapter of 1 Samuel, as is what the Lord would do with her prayer.  We will examine three facets of the request she made: 

  1. The reason for Hannah’s request
  2. The faith of Hannah’s request
  3. The result of Hannah’s request
