Where is the Glory?

Sermon Text: 1 Samuel 4:1b-22

Theme: By allowing the capture of His ark, God demonstrated that He had removed His glory from among His disobedient people, Israel. 

Structure/points:  1 Samuel 4 revolves primarily around the capture of the ark of the Lord.  We should seek to understand two things about this.

  1. The reason for the ark’s capture
  2. The result of the ark’s capture
