Sermon Text: Romans 12:1-2

Theme: In light of God’s abundant mercies, our Sovereign King calls us to lay down our whole lives as a sacrifice – wholly given to Him.

Structure/points: In the first 11 chapters of Romans, the Apostle Paul lays out our sinful condition apart from Christ and points us toward the rich and abundant mercies found in Christ. Here in chapter 12 he pivots to a focus on how we are to live in light of that. These verses serve as an overall call for us to give all of ourselves and to be radically transformed as we walk with the Lord.
